OBITUARY

ALGER — Thomas M., Sr., 85, of Ridge View Terrace, Carroll Twp., died Saturday, Oct. 6, 1962, at 8 p.m. in Monongahela Memorial Hospital.

Surviving are his widow, Edna; two sons, Russell of New York City, and Thomas M. Jr. of Suffern, N.Y., one step-son, Bartley Connolly of Ridgeview Terrace; four daughters, Mrs. Beverly (Edna) Acheson of Butler, Mrs. John (Ella) Fortunato of Canonsburg, Mrs. Paul (Frances) Gembarosky of Ridgeview Terrace and Mrs. Jonas (Roberta) Zimmerman of Elizabeth R. D. 3; one step-daughter, Marie Connolly of Thiells, N Y.; two sisters, Mrs. Rachel Skelton of Connellsville, and Mrs. Lucy Lash of Maryland; seventeen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Friends are being received at the Richard E. Lawson Funeral Home, Donora, until Tuesday, Oct. 10, when the body will be removed to Sampson Union Church for viewing from noon until time of services at 2 p.m. The Rev. Russell Sipe, pastor of the church, will be in charge. Interment at Mon Valley Memorial Park. — Richard E. Lawson
