Jean Berry Manning, 67, of Spearsville, La., passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at Medical Center of South Arkansas.
She was born Jan. 11, 1945, to Henry William and Jimmie Shetterly Berry in Monticello. Jean worked as a store manager and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James David Manning.
Survivors include her son, Paul David Manning and his wife, Deyci, of Spearsville; two brothers, Jerry L. Berry and his wife, Janice, of Sugarland, Texas, and James Berry and his wife, Kathy, of Monticello; sister, Ilene Rash and her husband, Jackie, of Longview, Texas; granddaughter, Sherlyn Leon; grandson, Michael David Manning; and a special niece, Rhonda K. Hatley of Monticello.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Canaan Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
