Reed H. Robison
Bonney Lake, WABorn to Leslie H. Robison and Effie Mae Holmes Robison in Hatton, Utah, January 23, 1930. Reed passed away May 31, 2012 surrounded by his family. He grew up in Millard County and Provo, Utah. He served in the Army, stationed at Fort Worden, Washington from 1951 until 1953. He met the love of his life, Arretta Denny, in 1954 and they were married July 11 of that year.He worked in law enforcement in White Pine County, first for Kennecott Copper Corp. as a security guard starting in 1954 and then as a Deputy Sheriff until 1978 when he and his family moved to Montana.Reed and Arretta have two devoted children, Monte R. (Keiko) and Marla (Mike) Sharpe.Reed touched many lives and was loved and admired by all who knew him. He was a talented woodworker and carpenter and generously shared his artistry with others. He loved a good joke and was great at telling fun stories from his experiences. He knew well how to show others a good time.Reed is survived by his wife, Arretta Robison, Bonney Lake, Washington , son Monte and daughter-in law Keiko, Utsunomiya, Japan, daughter Marla, son-in law Mike and adored grandson Hunter Sharpe, Lake Tapps, Washington; also by members of Arretta's family and many nieces and nephews who love and appreciate him so much.He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Verle (Ralph) Ahlstrom, and brothers Jack and Dean (LaNette) Robison.Services held Wednesday June 6, 2012 at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, Washington.
