Melissa Weaver Robertson, of Wake Forest passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Hillside Nursing Center. Mrs. Robertson was born in Wake County, the daughter of the late William Henry Weaver and Effie Bailey Weaver and was a member of New Light Baptist Church. She was retired from the Great American Insurance Company.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock, Saturday afternoon in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Burial will follow in New Light Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Robertson is survived by her husband of 50 years, W. Edward Robertson; sister, Mae Weaver Keith of Wake Forest; nephews, Tim Keith and wife, Leanne, and Terry Weaver and wife, Donna; great-nieces and great-nephew, Lauren & Kendall Keith and Christy Watkins and Brian Weaver. She was preceded in death by her brother, William Henry Weaver, Jr. and a sister, Lillian Blanche Weaver.
