Rodger Allen Boone, 64 of St. Albans, passed away December 28, 2010 at his home. Born August 26, 1946 in Charleston, he was the son of the late, Lester and Stella May (Curnutte) Boone.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Jim Boone and Bill Boone;
sister Josephine Ratigan.

Rodger was a Crane Operator by trade and member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local #132. He served his country in the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his son, Rodger Patrick Boone and wife Christine of St. Albans;
daughter, Tracy and husband Greg Lantz of St. Albans; grandchildren, Erin, Ryan and Kyle Boone and Chase, Carter and Camryn Lantz;
former wife, Enriquita Boone of St. Albans;
sisters, Helen Haverland of Cincinati, OH, Clara Hall and Mary Ann Adkins of Charleston;
brother Paul Boone of Hurricane.

Funeral service and burial, with Military Honors, at Cunningham Memorial Park, Upper Mausoleum Chapel, St. Albans with the Rev. Robert S. "Butch" Leadman officiating.
