Natalie Gunter took her place in the Kingdom of Heaven on Wednesday, June 27. Natalie was born on August 21, 1936 in Pecos, Texas. Natalie graduated from Balmorhea High School in 1954 and Sul Ross State University in 1959.

Natalie had a successful career in coaching Taylor, San Angelo, Burnet, Georgetown and Round Rock. To say that she touched the lives of many young people would be an understatement.

She was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Bertram, Texas. Natalie described Cumberland as one of the miracles in her life. She received just as much from the church as she gave and she will be missed greatly.

Natalie is survived by her cousins Ray Gunter, Carolyn Tegeler, Jacalyn Lowrance and their families.

A memorial service will be held at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Bertram, Texas on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. In keeping with Natalie's love of casual dress and T-shirts, feel free to wear your favorite T-shirt in honor of Natalie. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Balmorhea Cemetary in Balmorhea, Texas.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, PO Box 242, Bertram, Texas 78605 or Special Olympics 7715 Chevy Chase Drive Suite 120 Austin, Texas 78752.
