Jess Lee Phillips, Sr., 86, passed away on June 21, 2012. Jess was born on May 28, 1926 in Park Hill, OK to Bird Harrison and Belle (Caudrey) Phillips.

He proudly served in the United States Army and he retired from Tinker Air Force Base after 32 years of service. Jess enjoyed woodworking and crafts, fishing, and taking his grandkids camping.

Jess was preceded death by his parents; two sons, Warren and Billy Bob Walkabout. Survivors include his children, Jess Phillips, Jr. and wife Twila, Michele Cordial; grandchildren, Vincent Phillips, Michael Cordial, Gabrielle Gray, Taressa Box, Merranda West, Ryan A. Walkabout, Valerie Dawn Frederick, Justin Walkabout, Jason Knapp, Shane Walkabout, Summer Dawn Allen; and many great-grandchildren.

The visitation will begin on Sunday afternoon and the funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 25, 2012 at the Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneralhome.com
