Adene Morden Gwin, 83, of North Little Rock, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 26, 2012. She was born May 17, 1929 in Pulaski County to the late Horace Greeley Morden and Venie Ella Clement Morden. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and was retired after 38 years from Franklin Electric Company.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Herman "Bud" Gwin; daughter, Lisa Gwin (Greg Schichtl) of Vilonia; two sisters, Lena Grimmett and Corene Mitchell both of Sherwood; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Leonard Morden and sister, Opal Holt.
The family wants to thank the Baptist Hospice, Evelyn, Tina, Kitty and Brenda and a special thanks to friends and caregivers, Karla, Dana and Luz.
Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity. Funeral services will held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170. Burial will be in the Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
