Last Rites for Joseph Long Held in Colorado
Funeral services for Joseph Long who died at his home in Hugo, Colorado, last Friday were held at Hugo this afternoon, according to word received by relatives here.
Mr. Long was well known in this community, having made his home here until twenty years ago when he took up a homestead in Colorado. He was born on a farm in Deer Creek township September 7, 1857, the son of Lemuel Long.
Mr. Long is survived by two sisters, Mrs. M. E. Brown of Fort Dodge, Mrs. Ada Wright of Camden, Conn. and a brother Ely Long who lives on a farm in northern Minnesota. Three half-sisters and a half-brother also survive. They are Mrs. W. B. Miller, Mrs. J. B. Garrett and George Long of Fort Dodge and Mrs. Esther Bechtel of Pasadena, California.
