Mrs. Glass died Sunday, September 25 at Talladega Healthcare Center. She was born to the late Mr. Solomon and Mrs. Annie Breedlove on May 11, 1932 in Talladega. She confessed Christ at an early age, joining Mt. Canaan Baptist Church. She attended Westside School where she graduated. She was later united in Holy Matrimony to the Roy Glass, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son, Leroy Glass Jr.; her parents, Solomon and Annie Breedlove; three brothers, Willie Breedlove, Clarence Breedlove, and Major Breedlove; three sisters, Elizabeth Cotton, Pearl Greggs, and Jessie Mitchell. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Sandra (Rico) Glass Ragland of Talladega; five grandchildren, Marcellus (Riccoal) Welch of Lawrenceville, GA, Corey (Tara) Glass and Leroy Glass of Detroit, MI; two granddaughters, LaKiesha Glass and LaTasha Glass of Detroit, MI; 19 great grandchildren; one sister, Laura Jackson of Detroit, MI; one brother, Clifford Breedlove of Talladega; one sister-in-law, Emma Jean Breedlove of Guntersville; special friend and care-giver, Mr. Elnora Green of Talladega; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, & friends.
