Katherine M. Cooper, 55, of 14 Champion Avenue, died Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at her residence. She was born in Milwaukee on June 26, 1949; daughter of Robert and Janet (Redjinski) Raasch. On April 15, 1972, she married John J. Cooper in Milwaukee. Katherine was employed with Wide Area Classifieds. She was a member of Holy Family-St. Joseph's Parish and was very active in the Relay For Life, co-chairing the event with her husband in 2003. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, and her grandchildren. Survivors are her husband, John Cooper of Fond du Lac; a daughter, Sara (Matt) Hechel, and their children Macey and Rylie of Appleton, WI; a son, Chris Cooper (special friend, Theresa) of Wenatchee, WA; 3 siblings: Elizabeth (Bill) Neary, and their children: Tom, Mike, and Erin of Brookfield, WI; Robert Raasch and his children, Rebekah and Kristen of Stanley, WI; Ann Raasch of Weatogue, CONN; mother-in-law, Edna Cooper of Janesville; 4 sisters-in-law: Patricia Cooper of Janesville, WI, Deborah Cooper of Milwaukee, WI, Margaret Cooper of Baltimore, MD, and Barbara Cooper of Modesto, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services will be on Monday, March 21, 2005, at 10:30 a.m.; and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at HOLY FAMILY-ST. JOSEPH'S PARISH. Reverend Patrick Heppe will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Janesville. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials appreciated to the American Cancer Society or Fond du Lac Relay For Life.
