Died Sunday, Feb. 3, 1980, at his residence in Baker. He was 50, a native of Melville. He was employed by Delta Airline with 20 years of service, and a Navy veteran of World War II. Visiting at Charlet Funeral Home, Zachary, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at Faith Baptist Church, Baker. Religious services at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, conducted by the Rev. Ralph Walker. Burial at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Methodist Cemetery, Melville.

Survived by his wife, Charlotte Rice Duncan; six sons, David Duncan, Baton Rouge, Dale Duncan, Pride, Daniel Duncan, Goldsboro, N.C., Damon, Dexter and Darin Duncan, all of Baker; two sisters, Mrs. Broussard (Alice) Adams, and Mrs. Shirley (Dorothy) Allain, both of Melville; two brothers, Earl Duncan, Melville, and James Duncan, Baton Rouge; six grandchildren, Shelley and Sarah Duncan, both of Baton Rouge, Mickey and Kyle Duncan, both of Pride, Christy Duncan, North Carolina, and Dana Duncan, Baker.

He was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Fraternal Order of Eagles and AERIE 3668.
