Winifred Kerroll Kunz, died in Ogden, Utah, on the 3rd day of August, 2004. She was born in Montpelier, Idaho, October 5, 1920, the daughter of David C. Kunz and Jessie T. Kunz. Winifred attended elementary school in Salt Lake City, Utah, and she graduated from Montpelier High School, Montpelier, Idaho. She attended the University of Idaho and Brigham Young University. She served in the WAC during World War II from 1943 until 1945, in a public relations capacity for the U.S. Army. After her discharge from the Army, she lived in Lake Placid, NY and in New York City, where she was engaged in public relations and technical writing. She later moved to Chicago, Illinois, where she was employed as an Antique Silver Buyer for many years. In the early 1970's, she returned to New York City, where she was again engaged in technical writing until 1991. Upon her retirement, Winifred moved to Ogden, Utah where she resided until her death. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and two brothers, David S. Kunz, Coronado, CA; and Paul T. Kunz, Ogden, UT. She was predeceased by her father and mother. Graveside services at the Salt Lake City Cemetery on Sat., August 7.
