Born on Colerain Pike Oct 13, 1879 she was a daughter of Edward and Minerva Ashton Reese. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Her husband, William E DeVault died in 1856. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Rylie Dennis of Mt Pleasant Pike, one brother W. A. Reese of mt Pleasant Pike, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Heslop Funeral Home Martins Ferry where services will be held at 2 pm Thursday with the Rev Gordon Johnson in charge. Interment will be in Weeks Cemetery.
