Funeral Services will be held Friday Sept 1 at 1:30 pm for Jacob Kleweno, who died Tuesday Aug 29 at St. Rose Hospital.


Jacob Kleweno was born on 3 September 1880 at Otis, Rush County, Kansas. He was the son of John Kleweno and Kate Benner.

Jacob married Christina Schwindt on 27 December 1903 at Driftwood, Alfalfa County, Oklahoma.

Rev. Oliver Ringering will be in charge of services to be held in Bison First Baptist Church, music furnished by Baptist Men's quartet with Mrs. Lena Theilenhaus at organ.
Pallbearer will be Robert Hanhardt, Kenneth Hanhardt, Reuben Lohrey, Glendon Nicdenthal, Jonny Theilenhaus and Dwuane Perkins. Buried LaCrosse City Cemetery.

Survivors widow, daughter Miss Clara Kleweno Hays; 3 sons Alvin and wife; Harold and wife, of Bison and Merle and wife, Kansas City; 5 grandchildren; 3 brothers Adam, Bison; Dave, Hutchinson, KS; Herman, Larned; 4 sisters Mrs. kate Rein, Denver, Colo; Mrs. Anna Pursel, Great Bend; Mrs. Sara Mattal, Bison; Mrs. Katherine Snyder, Garden City; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
