Paul E. Ashba, Sr.
---Paul E. Ashba, Sr., age 59, 22306 J Drive North, died Wednesday evening, April 27 at Oaklawn Hospital, following a six year illness.
---Funeral services will be held Friday, April 29 at 1:30 p.m. at the Court-Putnam Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rice Creek Cemetery.
---Mr. Ashba was born Nov. 4, 1924 in Canton, Ohio to James and Ethel Ashba. He married Rosemary Sheldon Aug 2. 1947 in Angola, Ind.
---Mr. Ashba moved to Marshall in 1936 from Canton, Ohio. He was formerly employed at Corning Glass in Albion and for the past 18 years worked at Danny Sheldon Auto Parts. Mr. Sheldon[sic] was a member of the U.S. Army during WW II.
---Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Paul (Rosemary) Ashba, Sr.; two sons, Paul E. Ashba, Jr. of Albion and Steven L. Ashba of Marshall; three daughters, Mrs. Leon (Sandra Sue) Wooten of Albion, Mrs. Randy (Darlena) Smith of Olivet, and Miss Cherie Lee Ashba; 16 grandchildren, one great grandchild; one sister, Mrs. Ruth McGee of Lima, Ohio; two brothers, Lester Ashba and Frank Ashba, both of Lima, Ohio.
