Bernice J. Bourne, 81, of Georgetown, died Saturday, February 18, 2012 at her residence. She was born November 29, 1930 in Horry County a daughter of the late Olin & Emma (Powers) Jones.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by three sons; Levon Jones, Billy Ray Jordan, and James Alton Jordan; one sister, Nell Hoffman, and one grandson, Ronald Jimmy Jordan.

Bernice was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Mrs. Bernice enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking and shopping. She loved to be outdoors and to spend time with her family. Mrs. Bourne is survived by her husband of forty-five years, Robert F. Bourne of the home; six sons, Richard "Buddy" Bourne (Shonda) of Georgetown, Willie Gene Jordan (Peggy) of Aynor, Allison "Tal" Jordan (Sarah) of Aynor, Timothy Jordan of Conway, Mickey Jordan of Conway, Ronald "Ronnie" Jordan (Darlene) of Gresham; one daughter, Linda Altman of Myrtle Beach; four sisters, Alice Rosen of North Carolina, Eunice Brown, Elizabeth Elvis, and Asealea Brown all of Conway, twenty grandchildren and forty great-grandchildren and many other family and friends who will miss her.

The family will receive friends at Watson Funeral Services from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm Monday, February 20, 2012.

Graveside Service will be held 3:30pm Monday, February 20, 2012 at Lakeside Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Elliott officiating.
