Mabel M." Tootie" Duncan, 87, of Erie died Saturday, June 16, 2012 at CGH Medical Center, Sterling. Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Gibson Funeral Home, Erie. Burial will be in Sharon Cemetery, Erie. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM Tuesday to time of service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society. The former Mabel M. Harris was born February 10, 1925 in Annawan, the daughter of William and Fannie (Williams) Harris. She married Raymond "Jeff" Duncan on November 17, 1949 in Annawan. He died on January 11, 1989. She enjoyed bird watching and was a St. Louis Cardinal fan. Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Larry and Sandy Duncan, Erie, Terry Duncan in the state of Washington and a daughter, Linda Susan Johnson Smith, Urbana, IL, 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and a great granddaughter.
