Mrs. Dominica Williams, one of Lead's oldest residents, died Thursday at her home at 807 Julius. Although she had been in failing health, she did not become seriously ill until about a month ago.
She was born June 25, 1865 in Italy and came to the United States with her parents when she was about 14. The family ranched in the Belle Fourche area and Mrs. Williams had made her home in this vicinity since.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bart Williams, in 1917.
Survivors include a son, Nick Stetter, Belle Fourche; Mrs. Jennie Bosso, Mrs. Susan Adkins, both of Lead; Mrs. Olive Long, New York City, N.Y.; Mrs. Joanna Millett, Los Angeles, Calif., and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Funeral services have been set for 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Interment will be in the South Lead cemetery. Rosary services have been set for 7 p.m. Sunday at the McColley Funeral Home, Lead."
