He was a farmer and a member of Brooks Memorial Baptist Church.
Mr. Brooks served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David & Surrelda Brooks; brothers, Elmer, Morrison, and Maynard Brooks; and sisters Cleo Pillion and Edith Yeary.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 on Tuesday, June 26 at the Areny-Mullins Funeral Home of Rose Hill.
Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. on June 27 in the Lee Family Cemetery in Rose Hill
