Alvin Dupree Penton Sr., 69, of Crestview died Friday Nov. 20, 1992, in Crestview.
Mr. Penton was a native of Seminole, Ala., and was a resident of Pensacola before moving to Crestview in 1990. He was a retired plumber and a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Penton; two daughters, Linda Jones and Janice Langehennig; six sons, A.D. Penton Jr., Ark Penton, Lawrence Penton, Lonnie Penton, David Penton, and Johnny Dreadin; two brothers, the Rev. Lonnie Penton and W.C. Penton and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Faith Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Diamond and the Rev. Larry Batson officiating.
Burial will be in Beulah Cemetery. Faith Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
Mr. Penton's sons and friends will serve as pallbearers.
