CENTERVILLE, Ind. – Martha Watt, age 92, of Centerville, died Saturday, June 13, 2015, at Ambassador Healthcare. Born November 3, 1922, in Union County, Indiana, to Clarence and Isa West, Martha lived most of her life in this area. She was a cook at a nursing home in Liberty, and Martha and her husband farmed. She was a member of Brownsville United Methodist Church, the Centerville-Abington Senior Center, and the Homemaker’s Club in Centerville. Martha volunteered at Reid Hospital and Fayette Memorial Hospital. Survivors include her son, Richard (Dixie) Watt of Richmond; grandchildren, Sherry Watt of Colorado, Kim Duggan of Richmond, Julie Watt of Richmond, Amy Joy Watt of Richmond, Rusty Hensley of Liberty, and Jeff Hensley of Richmond; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Goodwin of Centerville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Watt who died in 1992; daughter, Mary Ann Hogan; and parents. Graveside service for Martha Watt will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at Brownsville United Methodist Cemetery in Brownsville, Indiana, with Rev. Richard E. Watt officiating.
