Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Adams, 62, Rudyard resident, were conducted Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock at the Holland and Bonine chapel. Interment was in Highland Cemetery.
Mrs. Adams was born March 24, 1901, in Kingfisher, Okla. The family moved to Oregon and then to Montana in the spring of 1910 where they homesteaded north of Inverness. In 1916 they moved to Rudyard. Emma Lambott was married March 13, 1917, to Oscar D. Adams. He preceded her in death Oct. 6, 1953.
Survivors include four sons, Victor and Zane, Rudyard, Thomas, Harlowton and Charles, Inverness; eight daughters, Mrs. Donald (Stella) Joyce, Richmond, Cal., Mrs, Hobert (Ione) Joyce, Citrus Heights, Cal, Mrs. Robert (Elsie) Albright, Chester, Mr. Roy (Gladys) Heimbigner, Chester, Mrs. Charles (Marie) Dunbar, Superior, Mrs. Burdette (Helen) Sterner, Cascade, Mrs. Art (Joyce) Knauss, Suquamish, Wash., and Mrs. Huston (Nellie) Lakey, Terry; two brothers, Louis and Arthur Lambott, Rudyard; a sister, Mrs. George Peebler, Kalispell; 50 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
