Mr. Votraw was employed by the Robeson Process Company at what is known as the acid plant, but due to declining years he was forced to give up work about four years prior to his death.
Mr. Votraw, who was 71 years of age was survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Agnes Light of Plattsburgh and the Misses Eva and Katherine Votraw of Au Sable Forks, and two sons, Morris and Leo, also of Au Sable Forks. One brother, James Votraw, of this village also survives him.
The funeral was held from Holy Name church Wednesday morning, August 18, 1937, at 9 o'clock and the interment was in Holy Name cemetery.
