Ocala – Marilyn Jean Bauer Pasteur, 62, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2012. She was born in Elgin, IL on February 9, 1950. Marilyn was of Catholic faith, worked as a records clerk for the City of Ocala Police Department for nearly 30 years, and was a member of the Jimmy Buffet Parrot Head Club. Mrs. Pasteur is survived by her husband Dale Pasteur, and sister Carol Altenburger both of Ocala, brother Jerry Bauer of Eustis, FL, 9 nieces and nephews, and 11 great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Robert and Evelyn Bauer, and a brother, Bobby Bauer. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2012 from 5pm-7pm, with prayers at 6:30pm at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala. The funeral service will be Friday, June 29, 2012 at 11:00 am at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, with a burial following at Highland Memorial Park, Ocala, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Marion County, PO Box 1542, Ocala, FL 34478.
