Norma Grace Cook Beazer, a loving wife of 52 years, a devoted mother of six children, a doting grandmother of 34 and a proud great-grandmother of three, died peacefully at her home August 1, 2004 after a long illness. She was surrounded by her husband and family when she returned to live with her Heavenly Father. She was born May 23, 1934 in Syracuse, Utah, a daughter of Walter and Delilah Ross Cook. Her family and the family business kept her busy, but she found time to serve in various church callings. She served in the Young Women's, Primary and Relief Society presidencies and served a stake mission with Dad, all the while supporting Dad in his many church callings. Her life was filled with service, sacrifice and love to all she came in contact with. Mother always took great pride in her family, her home and her yard. She loved spending time at home fixing big meals for her family and entertaining friends. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, and as health allowed, supported them in their various church, sports, dancing, academic activities and accomplishments. Mother loved our father and when they retired, they spent many months each year on the road or in the mountains which mother loved so much. Their hopes to serve a mission together is put aside as she goes on ahead to serve a different mission until they are reunited again. She is survived by her loving husband, Val Mark Beazer; daughters, Pamela (Michael) Butler, Janice (Jon) Martin, Beverly (Dennis) Cook, Nancy (Jeff) Grossaint; sons, Daryl (Denice) Beazer and Steven (Chris) Beazer; sister, Glenda (Richard) Bone. Mother was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Dean and Verl; sister, Betty; granddaughter, Jessica. What a happy reunion it must have been as she was greeted by her loved ones in heaven. Funeral services held Thursday, August 5, 2004 at the Brookshire Ward, 5550 South 1300 West. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
