Joseph B. Snyder, aged 84 years, long a resident of Bentleyville, died Sunday morning in the home of his son, E. C. Snyder, after an illness due to the infirmities of his year.s
Mr. Snyder was born in Morgantown, December 28, 1845, but had spent the greater part of his life in Bentleyville, having been a member of the Methodist Episcopal church there for the last 65 years.
His wife, Mrs. Alice Snyder, survives with three sons, Jesse, Emery and Earl Snyder, all of Bentleyville. Two sisters, Misses Mina and Hannah Snyder, of Bentleyville, also survive.
Funeral services will be held in the E. C. Snyder home this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Interment will be in the Beallsville cemetery.
