Hannah Fitch was born on September 13, 1735 in Coventy, Tolland County, Connecticut, a daughter of Jeremiah Fitch, Jr. and Mercy Porter; she married Nathaniel Winslow on April 9, 1753 in Salisbury.

Nathaniel Winslow was born April 22, 1730 in Rochester, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, a son of John and Bethiah (Andrews) Winslow; died January 6, 1778 in Salisbury, Litchfield County, Ct.

Nathaniel "fell a victim of a prevailing epidemic, while exerting his powerful influence in aid of the American army during the Revolutionary War". - Blake's Biographical Dictionary.

Hannah died instantly on August 1, 1806 in Williston, Chittenden County, Vermont while in the act of mounting a horse. Children of Nathaniel and Hannah (Fitch) Winslow are:
