Edna Louise Carroll ascended to her Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 24, 2012.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Parker Lynn Carroll.
Louise, a devoted wife, mother, and friend is survived by her daughter, Pat Nail and husband, Bill; son, Parker Carroll and companion, Denis Kelly; two grandchildren, Heather Aulbert and husband, Jon, Wes Nail and wife Angie; and four great-grandchildren, Emma Kaitlyn Nail and Taylor Kathryn Nail, Madeline Elizabeth Aulbert and Jamie Lynn Aulbert.
Louises working career began at the Army Depot in Memphis and concluded at the Johnson Space Center in Texas after 32 years of Federal Service in July 1977.
Parker and Louise then retired to Chattanooga, TN to enjoy 29 years supporting the University of Tennessee Volunteers.
Louise was a member of Park Place Baptist Church in Houston, TX and First Baptist Church in Chattanooga, TN. She was a member of the Seeker Sunday School Class and very active in Home-Bound and Cradle Roll Visitation.
She was a member and active in the Retired Federal Employees Association.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association 1-800-272-3900.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2012 in the Mausoleum Chapel of Forest Lawn Cemetery, 8701 Almeda Genoa Road, Houston, TX 77075.
