Funeral Services for Billie Opal Norman, 84, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 PM, Monday, June 28, 2010 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. She died Friday, June 25, 2010 at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
Billie was born November 21, 1925 in Calico Rock, AR, the daughter of Charles Clifford and Charlotte Emma Wittoff Tracy. She worked as a Assembly Line Worker for Baxter Travenol Labs for 21 years. Billie was a lifetime resident of the Mountain Home area.
Billie is survived by 3 sons - Danny (JoAnn) Hicks of Mountain Home, AR, Larry (Mary) Hicks of Calico Rock, AR, Jerry (Marilyn) Hicks of Mountain Home, AR; 2 daughters - Mary (Dennis) Haskell of Mountain Home, AR, Sharon (Richard) Prasser of Mountain Home, AR; 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands; Homer R. Hicks and Elwin "Red" Norman, three grandsons; Curt Allen Lawhorn, Jerry W. Hicks Jr. and John W. Hicks .
Burial will be in the Baxter Memorial Gardens with Preston Sherrill, Justin Sherrill, Luke Teague Richard Prasser, Dennis Heiskill and Thomas Teague serving as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Children Hospital.
