MUNCIE--Paulette Payne, 56, of Muncie died unexpectedly Friday, June 22, 2012 at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 10, 1956 in Muncie, and is the daughter of Jean N. Lehman (Sells) and the late Richard Z. Barnhouse.
Paulette was a shift-manager for Arby's in Muncie. She was the rock of her family and enjoyed playing bingo.
In addition to her mother, Jean N. Lehman of Muncie, she is survived by two children, a son, Charles Payne Jr. (fiance-Heather Jones) of Muncie, and a daughter, Nichole (Kyle) Keihn of Fort Wainwright, Alaska; a brother, Kenneth (Debbi) Barnhouse of Muncie; a sister, Janet Barnhouse of Muncie; a grandson, KJ "Bubba" Keihn; and a granddaughter, AnaBelle Keihn of Fort Wainwrighyt, Alaska; special friend, Kenny "Fluff" Rodgers; several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her grandparents; one aunt; and an uncle.
Funeral Services for Paulette will be held Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Timothy King officiating. Entombment will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and Friends may call Wednesday, June 27, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
