Funeral services for Anthony W. Lombard Jr. were conducted Friday, Jan. 3, 1992 at the Vase Flaming Gorge Chapel in Green River. Pastor Ron Day of the Monroe Avenue Baptist Church conducted the services. Cremation followed.

Lombard Jr., 47, of 595 Jensen St., Green River, died at 8:47 p.m. Monday, Dec. 30, 1991 at the Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County.

A resident of Green River and Rock Springs for the past 13 years and former resident of Las Vegas, Nev., Lombard had been in ill health the past two years. He was born in Winthrop, Mass., Feb. 13, 1944, the son of Anthony W. and Patricia Bonney Lombard Sr. He attended schools in Sommerville, Mass., and was a graduate of high school there. Lombard was a member of the Flying Tigers in the U.S. Air Force. He served in Korea and the Vietnam War.

He married the former Frances Craddock in Austin, Texas, Dec. 23, 1982.

Lombard was employed as an operator for Rhone Poulenc of Wyoming.
