On November 16, 1985 Almighty GOD blessed Charlesetta Hawkins and Milford Bernard Hawkins with the birth of Brandon Blake Hawkins he was born in Houston Texas. Brandon was truly a gift to Charlesetta and Milford as well as to the many proud family members who welcomed the first male child of another generation.

Brandon accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church. He attended school at Marion D. Crouse Instructional and Saint Agnes School Systems until his moved to Mansfield, Ohio, where he attended Richland Newhope Industries and was employed there until his illness.

Brandon loved the Lord, attending church, praising and worshiping God. He could be seen on Sunday in the congregation raring back a few times with his leg up, bible in his hand an imaginary microphone as to say look at me I'm preaching. He had soul and his rhythm was never off beat. Brandon also loved music, music, music and more music. His favorite pass time was to listen to his radio while looking at magazines. Brandon had an electric blue miniature microphone and he would sing to the people in the magazines, while turning the pages and laughing. He loved doing this everyday and couldn't wait to get to his room, after coming home from his workshop.

Brandon leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Charlesetta Hawkins of Mansfield, OH; father, Milford Hawkins of Houston, TX; brother, Pristell Dogan III; grandmother, Margaret Montgomery, both of Flint, MI; grandfather, William Charles (Helen) Randolph of Euclid, OH; great-great aunt, Morene Brown of Cleveland, OH; great-aunts, Yatunda Primm of Akron, OH, Evelyn (Carlton) Primm-Cross of Camden, AR, Belinda (Vincent) Primm-Powell of Twinsburg, OH, and Gail (David) William of Flint, MI; great-uncles, Vanco (Kim) Payne of Oklahoma City, OK, Archie (Daisy) Primm of Flint, MI, Jerry Primm of Cleveland Heights, OH, Nathaniel (Louise) Randolph of Houston, TX and Lasker (Mary) Bell of Camden, AR; special aunt, Charlene (Micheal) Winston; uncle, Rafael Smith; a host of over 100 2nd cousins; a host other family and friends as well as many faithful caregivers, especially Sister Deborah Harris, Deacon Ed and Min.
