He was born December 18, 1971 in Greenfield, Indiana, and resided in this area most of his life.
Joseph retired from the US army.
He had a great sense of humor.
He is survived by his mother & step-father, Deborah (Mingle) & Phil Hagan; Father, Gerald Castor; daughter, Taylor Castor; grandmother, Betty Mingle; sister, Brooke Castor; niece, Alice Castor; and special friends, Marsha and Thelma.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles & Helen Castor and Hugh Mingle.
Visitation will be from 4-8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory; 200 W. 53rd Street; Anderson.
Services will be Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 11:30 AM, at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Grovelawn Cemetery, Pendleton with military rites by the VFW Post #266.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Association.
