SUTTON, Nehemiah
b. 1769- Welch Tract, DE
d. 11/20/1853; Fayette Co, PA
s/o James Sutton & Hannah Cox;
Wife: Jane Brown, Married, 1800

Info from Contributor: Mark Maxwell (46819259)
Please note that the birth location in the bio is misleading. His actual birth location is Delaware County, Pennsylvania. I searched Welsh Tract and found it was an area deeded by William Penn to a group of Welsh Quakers in 1684. The area is now part of Montgomery, Chester, and Delaware counties.

The 1850 U.S. Census (pg 2 of 31 in Perry, Fayette County, PA) lists Nehemiah as born in Pennsylvania and his occupation is a glassblower and living in "Perry", Fayette County, Pensylvania. At the time of the census he was living with the John and Louisa McCully family (grandchildren ??)

Additional information:
From the Sons of the American Revolution application:

Name: Nehemiah Sutton
Birth Date: 1769
Death Date: 20 Nov 1853
SAR Membership: 59581
Role: Ancestor
Application Date: 10 Jun 1942
Spouse: Jane Brown
Children: Eliza Louisa Sutton

Note that his daughter is Eliza Louisa Sutton. This is probably the Louisa I mentioned in the earlier message.
