Passed away Thursday in the Cherokee County Health & Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 PM at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ricky Pollard and Rev. Floyd Hufstetler, officiating. Entombment will follow in the Cherokee Memory Garden Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 PM Sunday. Memorials may be made to the Pine Grove Children's Ministry, the CCHRC Beauty Shop or the family will accept flowers. Survivors include two daughters, Alice (Henry) Careaga and Linda Helms, both of Centre; a son, Paul Braamkolk of El Cajon, CA; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph Braamkolk. Mrs. Braamkolk was a native of Holland, MI, the daughter of the late William and Alice Slotman Klies and was a member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church.
