Thomas married Daisy Dean Brizendine in 1897. They had eight children: William Henry Emerson, Daisy L. Emerson, Bessie T. Emerson, Leland H. Emerson, Thomas "TC" Emerson, Bradley Emerson, Mary Agnes "Aggie" Emerson, and Linda Emerson.

THOMAS C. EMERSON, of 424 East Broadway, Mayfield, Kentucky, died at 10 p.m. on Friday. He was 91. Mr. Emerson was a retired employee of the Merit Clothing Company.

Survivors include three sons, Thomas C. Emerson, Jr., Murray, Kentucky, Gilson Emerson, Walnut Creek, California, and Bradley Emerson, Vicksburg, Mississippi; three daughters, Mrs. W. H. Harrell, Mayfield, Kentucky, Mrs. Jerry Adams, Perry, Florida, and Mrs. Leslie C. (Mary Agnes "Aggie") Jackson, Perry, Florida; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Monday at the Byrn Funeral Chapel with Bro. Flavil Nichols and Rev. Loren Broadus officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
