Died at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. She was a native of East Baton Rouge Parish, former resident of Melville, age 90, a retired school teacher and a resident of 3777 Clayton St. Body at Rabenhorst Funeral Home from 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday and after 8 a.m. Thursday. Religious services at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Robert Carter. Interment in Melville Methodist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Russell Rabalais, Jude Rabalais, Roger Rabalais, Donald D. Hunt, Donald D. Hunt Jr. and Jeffrey Hunt.

Survived by two sons, Dr. R. Roy Rabalais and Allen Rabalais, both of Baton Rouge; a daughter, Mrs. Hunt, Zachary; five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Allen Rabalais; a brother, Judge R. P. [sic R. B.] Butler, and sisters, Mrs. Addie Overton and Mrs. Florence Satlerley.

She was a member of the North Baton Rouge Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star and Retired Teachers Association and a graduate of Louisiana Normal College, Natchitoches. She taught 46 years, the last 20 at North Highland School.
