A Teacher, OR-CA Trails Association, 2010 chair for the Oregon Historical Trails Advisory Council. - Daniel Applegate died 11 Feb 1826 and buried in old St. Louis cemetery. It does not state where the cemetery is located. After Daniels death it is unclear what became of his wife Rachel, in 1830 she is mentioned in a letter by one of her sons with no further details. Her death date and location is not known.
