Called "Buck",son of (unknown) Crews who was killed in the Civil War, and a mother thought to be a Sparrow. He supposedly left Halifax Co. with a cousin, Spencer Cody Keeling, because he had gotten into some trouble. He was a drifter for some time before marrying Ada Florence Zachary in Fulton, Kentucky on May 5, 1881. They lived for a while in Hickman Co. KY., where their first child was born, then moved to Graves Co., where 12 more children were born. By 1906, they moved to Etna, OK., then to Bogata, (Red River Co.) Texas, where his cousin Spencer Keeling lived. Buck lived there up until his health failed, and he sold out and went to live with a daughter, Eula Crews Bush back in Blaine Co. OK. He died a few months later from what was believed to be stomach cancer.
