CROSS
Earl Cross, 64, 712 Indiana Ave., Nutterfort, W.Va., who moved from Jeannette in 1952, died Thursday, April 29, in Clarksburg, W. Va. Hospital. The son of the late Guy B. and Ida James Cross was born in Clarksburg Oct. 31, 1911. A veteran of World War II, he was retired from PPG Industries and was a member of Vincent Memorial United Methodist Church. Surviving are brothers, Ray Cross and Roy Shook of Akron and Elzy Shook of Clarksburg; sisters, Mrs. Georg (Ruth) Harper, Mrs. Bessie Hickman, and Mrs. Tessie Treitinger, of Akron; several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, 201 N. First St., Jeannette, from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Services will be held in the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Saturday by Rev. Donald L Jackson. Interment will be in Penn-Lincoln Memorial Park.
