Wife of Ralph M. Hayner Vencill. Ralph was adopted by Albert "Al" Vencill and Josie M. Vencill. They lived in Missouri at that time. When Josie Vencill died in 1928, He and his father moved back to Russell Co. Va. Al and Josie were born and are from Va. Gussie and Ralph Vencill had two children- Austin G. Vencill and Velma E. Thompson Vencill, and one adopted child Margaret Jo Lowe.

Gussie was a twin. Her twin died 6 days after birth and is buried in Belfast United Methodist Church in Belfast Mills. Va.

Direction to Cemetery:
Located on Spring Drive just east of the Belfast area. From Lebanon take Rt. 19 east toward Claypool Hill. Go past the Belfast area and turn right on Spring Hill Road. Go across Indian Creek and turn left on the next road, Spring Drive. Follow Spring Drive till it makes U turn and there will be a driveway that continues straight ahead. Go up the driveway to the house and the cemetery will be on the hill to the right of the house.
