Sally Sparks Street, age 98 of Hwy 197, Green Mountain, NC passed away October 31, 2013. She was a Native of Mitchell County, NC and a daughter of the late Reuben and Louise Gouge Sparks. Sally was a Homemaker and was a Member of Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include; her daughter, Doris Street Willis, of Burnsville, NC, sons; Kenneth Street, of Johnson City, TN, Eugene Street, of Louisburg, NC, Junior, Ronnie, and Wayne Street, all of Bakersville, NC, and Floyd Street, of Spruce Pine, NC, one brother, Bruce Sparks, of Spruce Pine, NC, fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by; her husband Fred Street, her children; James Street and Opal Hollifield, six sisters, and three brothers.
