Dysart Cowan Castleman, son of B. F. and Emma Castleman, was born in Boone county, 'Missouri June 3, 1886; died in the Baptist Hospital in Springfield Missouri March 7, 1954 at the age of 67. When a very small boy he moved with his parents to Raymondville where they resided for a short time. Later the family moved to Yukon where he has since resided with the exception of some time working in the west. He was united in marriage to Elva Frederick July 25th. 1909 and of this union there were four sons. Mr. Castleman was a successful farmer for many years and was one of Ozark township's best known citizens. He had operated a store at Yukon for many years. Mr. Castleman was an admirer of horses. Saddle horses had been his hobby. He had been in failing health for a number of years. Survivors include his wife, four sons. Clay, Roy, O'Neal and Troy; one brother, Claude, and three grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted March 9 at the Raymondville Methodist Church by Rev. Lloyd Tyree assisted by Mrs. Ray C. Miles. Burial was in the Allen cemetery under the direction of Elliotts
