Stephen Allen, first son of William and Martha Allen, was born in Georgia in 1816. He was married to Syrenia Saville (b. Mississippi) in 1841 in Leake County, Mississippi. Stephen and Syrenia lived in Leake County in 1850 and 1860. When and where Stephen died is unknown. A person who appears to by Syrenia (though listed as Sarah in the census) is living with her daughter Matilda and next to her son Jefferson in the 1870 Leake County census -- suggesting Stephen was deceased by 1870.
