BUHL, IDAHO - Funeral services were held June 3, 1969 for Joseph A. Clark, 84, Rt5. 1, Buhl, who died May 31, 1969 in a Twin Falls Hospital following a two-month illness.

Born Jan. 8, 1885, Manchester, England. He came to the U.S. in 1894. Lived in Utah and California before coming to Buhl in 1923. Married Anna Frances Hurd, June 29, 1911, Eureka, Juab County, Utah. Farmer; worked as ditch rider for the Twin Falls Canal Co. until retiring 10 years ago. Member Buhl First United Methodist Church. Member of Masonic organizations: past master, Buhl Lodge 53 AF&AM; past high priest of Buhl Chapter 21; Royal Arch Mason; past eminent commander of the Twin Falls Commandry 10; Knights Templar and member of the Twin Falls Council 7; Royal and Select Masters of Idaho; had also served as Grande Prelate of the Grand Commandry Knights Templar of Idaho and as a past member of the El Korah Temple of the Shrine.

Survivors: widow, son, Robert H., Glendale, Calif; two grandsons; three great-granddaughters.

Masonic rites were conducted by members of Buhl Lodge 53. Memorials may be made to the Buhl First Methodist Church Memorial Fund or the Idaho Youth Branch. Burial Buhl Cemetery.
