8-Year-Old Girl Killed By Train
Cynthia Barr, eight year old Grand Island girl, was fatally injuried June 25 when she was struck by a freight train at a rail crossing there.
The child is survived by her father, Jimmy Barr, her stepfather and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Spencer; a brother and a sister, all of Grand Island; and her grandmothers, Mrs. Minnie Boardman of Fullerton and Mrs. Helen Stevenson of Grand Island.
Funeral and burial services were held June 28 at Grand Island.
