Tara Marie Reetz, age 10, loving daughter of Dan and Jean Reetz, of 20601 W.
Goodwin Rd., Reedsville, died unexpectedly Thursday, November 18, 1993, enroute
to Milwaukee Children's Hospital.
The Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 22,
1993, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Maple Grove. The Rev. Nicholas Johannes
will officiate with burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
Tara was born December 8, 1982, in Reedsville, daughter of Daniel and Jean (Sheehy)
Reetz. She was a fifth grade student at St. Mary's/St. Patrick's grade school in
Reedsville where she was a member of the girl's basketball team, and the school band.
She was also a member of the Reedsville girl's softball team and a former member of
the Reedsville Lioness Hi/Steppers. Tara also was a volunteer and helped special
education students.
Surviving are her parents; three brothers, Patrick, Ryan and Shane, two sisters, Jody
and Nicole, all at home; her paternal grandparents, Jerry and Sue Reetz, Wayside;
special godparents, Annie McVey and Dick Sheehy; a number of aunts, uncles, cousins
and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents,
Gordon and Irene Sheehy.
Friends may call at St. Patrick's Catholic Church from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, November 21,
1993, and also on Monday after 9 a.m. until the time of service. A wake service will
be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, led by Father Nick. Memorials would be appreciated. The
Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers are assisting the family with funeral
arrangements.
Tara was a very loving, caring person, and will be sadly missed by all who loved her.
