Iowa- Marshall C. Gaugh, 85, passed away Friday, June 22, 2012 in a local hospital.

Marshall was born February 8, 1927 in Mangham, LA to Ray Ben and Eura Mable Turnner Gaugh. He attended Kelly High School and North East, now ULM in Monroe. He was a member of the Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was an employee of Harper Morgan Rodeo for many years. His hobbies included attending his children's many sports activities and McNeese sports. Marshall also loved attending Blue Grass & Gospel Music Festivals.

Survivors include his son, Ben Gaugh of Sulphur; daughter, Brenda Gaugh Doucet of Lake Charles; 3 half-brothers and 1 half-sister; 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and his companion, Betty Head of Iowa.

He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Katie Gaugh.

Funeral services will be held in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home Monday, June 25, 2012 at 10:00 .m. with Rev. Elyse Mae Sonnier officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. Visitation will begin Sunday from 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. in the funeral home and continue Monday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m.
