Daren died -- at age 3 days -- in St. Joseph Hospital in Omaha. He was born there. He was buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Omaha, but when his father died in 1984, Daren's body was disinterred and reburied in the same grave as his father, and at the same time, in Corwith, Iowa, his father's home town.
Daren's gracious, good mother, Carol Ann, was still living in Omaha, and never re-married as of February 2018.
